Note this is a video recording of an online meeting conducted using the Zoom.us platform. Inevitably such recordings suffer a little in terms of their production values because of the internet connectivity and quality of webcams. Despite that, they allow us to provide additional valuable insights in to the MedComms business and we can involve a wider range of speakers who can participate from the comfort of their own desks, wherever in the world they are.

In this webinar we are joined by Beth Lesher and Larry Radican of OPEN Health who believe that HEOR writing is a unique skill set that combines skills and competencies in both writing and HEOR. The field of HEOR comprises many different methodologies – primary data collection studies such as surveys and registries, secondary data studies such as electronic medical records and claims database studies, and economic modeling and other special types of analyses like discrete choice experiments, predictive modeling, and indirect treatment comparisons. The world of HEOR has incredible breadth and depth and, therefore, so must our writing. We discuss the ins and outs of effective HEOR writing, how to create compelling narratives on unmet need and product value that resonate with readers, as well as the key questions we should always ask ourselves when beginning a new HEOR writing project. And we answer questions from the audience.

It should be of interest to anyone who is working in and around MedComms, or who is wanting to join the business.
