ABSTRACT:

Open Pharma aims to improve the medical publications model by connecting pharma with innovations in publishing. We are coordinating a group of forward-thinking pharma clients, publishers, patients, academics, regulators, editors, non-pharmaceutical funders and societies to identify the changes that are needed and how they might be achieved. We are engaged with the open science movement and aim to advance in our world of medical publishing topics such as open access, preprints, author identification and disclosure, and data sharing. Open Pharma is a non-profit-seeking project at Oxford PharmaGenesis, which is funded by members and supporters.

In this talk, we discuss three innovations in publishing that aim to increase transparency and efficiency in the authorship disclosure process: ORCID, CRediT and Convey. We provide an overview of these innovations, highlighting their benefits and potential future uses in medical publishing.
