For this edition of their webinar series “Keeping it real”, Dr Mark Larkin and Dr Casey Quinn discussed the generation of real-world evidence to support NICE severity modifier modelling. They covered the recent update by NICE to its methods and processes for health technology assessment, which includes a number of significant changes to how innovative medicines will be evaluated for pricing and reimbursement in the UK. They also addressed how granular RWE can support demonstration of severity, including as companies seek near-term responses to the new methods.
