On the inaugural Patient Engagement Day, Wednesday 01 September, Prime Global hosted an opening webinar to deep dive into what it really takes to amplify the patient voice in healthcare.
Although patients long to tell their health stories and highlight to pharma what they consider when participating in a clinical trial – and the everyday support that they need; pharma can wrap itself in red-tape around what is compliant. The wrangle between promotion and collaboration must end so that effective patient engagement ensues.
During this webinar, Emma Sutcliffe, patient engagement thought leader and SVP Patient Insights and Solutions at Prime Global, will cover:
– Hype or hope – what are the benefits of amplifying the patient voice in healthcare?
– Tools or tokenism – do patient lay summaries work or do they just tick the box?
– Voice and vision – providing Patient Voice Publications for better patient engagement experiences.
Emma is joined by panellists Shona Davies (Shona Davies Consulting) and Laura McKeaveney (McKeaveney Consulting GmbH).
Recorded as a live webinar, 1 September 2021, by Prime Global and is included here with their permission.
