Note this is a video recording of an online meeting conducted using the Zoom.us platform. Inevitably such recordings suffer a little in terms of their production values because of the internet connectivity and quality of webcams. Despite that, they allow us to provide additional valuable insights in to the MedComms business and we can involve a wider range of speakers who can participate from the comfort of their own desks, wherever in the world they are.

In this webinar we reflect on the disrupted year we’ve just had, and talk about what’s coming. We’re joined by four senior MedComms leaders, Alice Choi (COO, McCann Health Medical Communications), Dennis O’Brien (CEO, Lucid Group), Jane Smith (Director, AMICULUM) and Chris Winchester (CEO, Oxford PharmaGenesis). Many in MedComms benefited from working flexibly before the pandemic, but everyone working from home takes some adapting. How’s it affected working practices, recruitment, training, company culture and more? Many argue that MedComms specialists were already responding to rapidly increasing demands from clients and audiences alike for more digital deliverables. But everyone recognises the dramatic acceleration we’ve seen in the past year as, for instance, events went virtual more or less overnight. We’ll discuss how bright the future is for MedComms. And we answer questions from the audience.

It should be of interest to anyone working in and around MedComms.
