Note this is a video recording of an online meeting conducted using the Zoom.us platform. Inevitably such recordings suffer a little in terms of their production values because of the internet connectivity and quality of webcams. Despite that, they allow us to provide additional valuable insights in to the MedComms business and we can involve a wider range of speakers who can participate from the comfort of their own desks, wherever in the world they are.

This panel discussion was one of five sessions which comprised the MedComms Forum, Disrupted events: what’s happening in #MedComms practice?. The panellists are Katherine Baria (AstraZeneca), Johanna Dixon (McCann Health Medical Communications), Ged Forshaw (APS) and Orla Weir (McCann Health Medical Communications). We offer practical tips on how to deliver virtual meetings, with a focus on the advisory board settings and meetings where external experts and HCPs are involved. Highlighting key considerations (format, timing, length, technology etc.), questions to always ask, common pitfalls, lessons learnt etc. We also touch on the high-end delivery of customer-focused content i.e. doing normal business meetings is easy, but what about when it has to be really high quality? And we answer questions from the audience.

It should be of interest to anyone who is working in or around MedComms.

Recorded 15 July 2020 as a MedComms Networking webinar. Produced by NetworkPharma.tv
