Note this is a video recording of an online meeting conducted using the Zoom.us platform. Inevitably such recordings suffer a little in terms of their production values because of the internet connectivity and quality of webcams. Despite that, they allow us to provide additional valuable insights in to the MedComms business and we can involve a wider range of speakers who can participate from the comfort of their own desks, wherever in the world they are.

This panel discussion was one of five sessions which comprised the MedComms Forum, Disrupted events: what’s happening in #MedComms practice?. The panellists are Sam Barnes (AXON Communications), Matthew Saunders (Tangent 90) and Nick Trout (Tangent 90). The accelerated move to virtual scientific congresses has significantly disrupted traditional pharma delegate touchpoints such as the poster hall presentation and the exhibition booth. We explore the changing nature of engagements at events around the exchange of scientific content with delegates and the impact technology can bring to effective engagement, sharing and compliant distribution of the science. And we answer questions from the audience.

It should be of interest to anyone who is working in or around MedComms.

Recorded 15 July 2020 as a MedComms Networking webinar. Produced by NetworkPharma.tv
