ABSTRACT:
Envision Pharma are moving Datavision the global industry standard publication planning and management tool since 2002 – to an entirely new web-based platform, along with their other technology solutions. The new platform, called iEnvision, is being purpose built to work across medical affairs functions to help manage publications, share information, manage medical information, investigator-initiated trials (IIT) and medical education requests, and integrate Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) programmes and the clearance of materials before they are released externally. Altmetrics analytics will be integrated with the new platform, enabling access to altmetrics data across the piece.
The new iEnvision system will enable enhanced information access for publication planners who work with Datavision. Publication planners will be able to see, for example, which publications are being cited, where they are being shared and used online, what questions physicians are asking about products, and which publications are being used internally.
Conventional processes for accessing information tend to vary across and within companies and workflow systems. The new iEnvision platform is designed to integrate the different elements of medical affairs information, to enable easy access to all the components from users’ desktop or laptop computers. Medical information, IIT requests, HEOR, etc., will be able to feed in, bringing everything into one place, to allow streamlined monitoring and planning. The iEnvision system will roll out in 2018-20.
